X-37 VELUX
Great start to the 2005 racing season
The X-37 Velux participated in this season’s first race in the Mediterranean in the waters off Malaga, where the IMS yachts were meeting for the first time in 2005.

X-37 Velux - with cushions and fridge on board - came 3rd in a fantastic competition against two carbon racers, the winner “Fermax” and the “Forum Filatelica” 2nd. Velux normally belongs in the IMS 670 Class for smaller boats, but could not be measured into this class, and was therefore racing against these larger and faster boats in the 42ft class.

Next time the X-37 is racing is in the Princess Sophia Trophy in Palma, where she will have a new keel and be ready to participate in the IMS 670 Class, where she belongs.
