Level Gauges
X-99, X-302, X-332, X-362, X-382, X-412
Fuel and water
  1. Locate the tank and unscrew the level gauge.
  2. Put the swimmer of the level gauge to the min. position.
  3. Check the readout on the instrument (make sure instrument switch is put to the correct tank position).
  4. The readout must be zero. If the readout is different from zero, the level gauge has a fault.
Hint:
If possible check the resistance between the two wires of the level gauge.
The resistance must be zero when the level gauge is in min. position.
The resistance of the level gauge must be as shown below:

Note!
The resistance may vary with 5 ohms.
  1. Put the level gauge to the max. position.
  2. Check the readout on the instrument.
  3. If the readout is different from "full", adjust the readout by turning the pot. metre at the back of the circuit board, located at the back of the instrument, until the readout is correct.

    X-99, X-302, X-332:
    X-99, X-302 and X-332 are only equipped with a fuel level gauge, therefore the circuit board only has one pot. metre.

    X-362, X-382, X-412:
    Some of these boats are equipped with both water and fuel level gauge.

    The fuel must be adjusted at the pot. metre where core No 21 is connected, and the water must be adjusted at the pot. metre where core No 23 is connected.

  4. Check item 2-7 again to make sure the settings are correct.
  5. Note! Most of our fuel tanks are non cubic, therefore the readout of the instrument is to be taken as an approximately readout.
