The X6 represents the first in a new development of performance cruising yachts. The twin-rudder X6 will utilise the same hi-tech construction techniques as X-Yachts adopted to build their latest generation Xp racer-cruisers.
The baby sister in the Xc family has been born, and is the newest member of the highly praised and awarded long distance Xcruising range.
“The Xc 38 does everything – from using the space to the premium (the inside is capacious throughout) to build and finish quality, to sailing performance – exceptionally well. The Xc 38 defines ‘luxury cruiser’ in a very manageable size.”
The second yacht in the Xcruising range, the Xc 42 offers no-compromise comfort and impressive pace combined with ease of handling.
"This is an impressive, genuine
long-distance passagemaker ...
seasoned sailors ... looking to
hang up their racingboats and sail
with wives and families, need look no further."
“The Xc 50 is a thoroughbred sailboat – sensible, but not too much.”
Varen, June 2010
Fast, fun, and user-friendly, the Xp 33 is designed to give thrilling sailing straight off the dock. The smallest yacht in the Xperformance line, the Xp 33 features a retractable bowsprit.
"She is exactly as we hoped for, stiff, fast and very easy to manage. She felt very slippery, accelerated quickly out of tacks and was just a delight to steer and sail".
“The feeling of helming the Xp 44 is just sensational, the stiff hull means it takes just a touch of bow down on the helm to get her back up to maximum speed, whilst all that stability gives you finger tip control – even reaching along at tight angles under the huge code zero.
Combining high-tech engineering, luxurious comfort and superb sailing performance, the new Xp 50 raises the bar for performance cruiser-racer yachts.
“You steer, she responds. Nothing comes between the wind’s force and the Xp 50’s acceleration on the water.”
The first Xp 55´s are due for delivery early summer 2013 and are being offered including a comprehensive and attractive introduction package of high quality equipment.
The 65 is the result of combining the conceptual ideas behind the X-55 and the IMX 70. The clean, uncluttered deck layout mirrors X-Yachts philosophy: simplicity and functionality, with a modern yet classic styling. Comfort in style combined with world class quality.
The X-35 is an exciting yacht to race around the buoys, no matter what the conditions. With the open transom, large working cockpit, full width steering wheel and all control lines on hand at both sides, she delivers smiles all round.
She sports the latest in fast hull and appendage design; a non overlapping headsail configuration; double spreader, carbon mast and boom from one of Europe’s leading suppliers; large diameter carbon wheel; all trimlines leading to both sides of the coach roof; and a backstay adjustment run via the Magic Wheel.

The X6 represents the first in a new development of performance cruising yachts. The twin-rudder X6 will utilise the same hi-tech construction techniques as X-Yachts adopted to build their latest generation Xp racer-cruisers, including vacuum infused epoxy with localised carbon for strength, stiffness and stability. It also comes from the same drawing-board as the award-winning Xcruising family.
Combining the best elements of these two world-beating ranges will be an all-new, luxurious and impressively fast collection of performance cruising yachts for state of the art blue-water sailing.
The first model will be in the 60-foot range, a sector which is dominated by traditionally styled, relatively heavy cruising yachts. 'In developing their latest model, by using the Xp construction techniques, X-Yachts sets out to achieve a 15-20 per cent weight saving over a traditionally built 60ft cruiser, while offering improved performance and amenities compared to Mediterranean-style 'daysailer' yachts. The new models will be offered with a wide choice of sail options, with high priority given to ensuring the yacht is easily handled with just one or two crew.
The 'X6' is currently under development and set for launch in early 2015.
X-Yachts and X-sailors will again this year be a part of the ARC Race
