Less than 2 month to go and X-65 no. 1 will hit the water for the first time. The development team has made good progress and the project is really taking shape with most technical installation having been completed. The interior fit out stage is now in full progress and also deck no. 1 has moved into production for fit out. Hull no. 2 will shortly follow into the fit-out stage and with 5 yachts sold; also this new flagship from X-Yachts proves to be a success.

| 30 Years Anniversary
World Class since 1979 Friday the 20th of March the three X-Yachts founders and owners celebrated the 30th years anniversary together with their employees and their spouses in Haderslev, Denmark, at the Hotel Harmonien. Apart from live music and two well-known Danish comedians also the three founders contributed with some tales from their long and successful history. The evening closed well past midnight and showed that the company spirit from the founding days still is a life with a strong team of people that both work well together and can celebrate together.

Cruising World announces X-34 Boat of the Year 2009Cruising World magazine has announced the winners of the biggest annual honors in sailboat building, the Boat of the Year awards.
The X-34 took the award for Best Racer/Cruiser. When Cruising World's preliminary judges reviewed the roster of possible BOTY candidates and set up the Racer/Cruiser category for this year's contest, little did they anticipate the semantic quandary they'd create with their grouping of performance-oriented sailboats. "Is it more racer than cruiser? Is it cruisier or racier?" asked the BOTY judges, after visiting and sailing each boat. At length, no matter how the distinctions were drawn and debated, the Danish-built X-34 emerged as the best blend of both.

X-34 Winner of Hamble Winter Series 2008 The X-Yachts team has competed in the 2008 Hamble Winter Series this year in their X-34 “Flexer”. With the series drawn to a close, the team finished 1st overall in IRC Class 2. Once again, the X-34 has proven to be an excellent boat for IRC racing. She is stiff and easy to handle as you would expect from any of the X-Yachts performance cruisers. She sails very well to her rating in all conditions.

A total of 54 entries from 10 nations makes the X-35 Worlds the largest international one-design race for these exciting craft since the X-35 Class was launched and recognized in 2006.
With ROLEX as the Official Partner and the prestigious Yacht Club Italiano as organizer, the second X-35 World Championship will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Cala Galera in Tuscany from 22 to 28 September, 2008.

August 2008 European Yacht of the Year 2008/2009
Xc 45 nominated for The European Yacht of the Year Award in the category Luxury Cruiser.
The first model in the new Xcruising line had its World Premiere during the X-Yachts Gold Cup 2008 in Copenhagen in July. During the autumn and winter she will be on show at all mayor international boat shows, and in November she will be test sailed in Barcelona by journalists from the EYOTY group.
Fifteen Xc 45s are already sold in her first year of building and, in January 2009 she will be followed by her little sister the Xc 42. This model will have its World Premiere at boot Düsseldorf from 17 to 25 January.

Sailing World Announces X-41 Boat of the Year 2008 12-12-2007
Sailing World magazine announced today the winners of the biggest annual honors in sailboat building, the Boat of the Year awards. The X-41 One-Design took the award for Best Crossover, a boat that bestrides the gulf between racer and cruiser with aplomb.
"X-Yachts has paid a lot of attention to both the broad-brush concept and also to details with the 41," said Andrews. "It has a combination of hull shape, keel, rudder, and rig that sails as a race boat should, is relatively easy to keep in the groove and wins races."
An independent panel of experts picked the winners from the 17 nominated boats announced during the U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, Maryland, in October.
More than sixty X-41s are now sold worldwide, and the first X-41 International Event will be held in Copenhagen from 16 to 19 July 2008 during the 11th X-Yachts Gold Cup. More than thirty X-41s are expected to participate in the three days of racing.

The shortest day became one of the best the year 2006
- After the test sail, we motored up the Haderslev Fjord to the yard. It was hard not to smile all the way, in spite of the early darkness. The shortest day was also one of the most thrilling.
We are positive that the X-41 will fulfil our most optimistic expectations. Never have the crew and I had such an enjoyable "cold" day ...

The first international X-35 Cup in history took place in Holland
Designer, Niels Jeppesen, watched the historical moment of the first start of the International X-35 One Design Cup through the lens of his camera. Out at sea in a rib he followed the X-35 fleet competing in the first three races on Friday 17 August. It was a proud moment when the twenty-four X-35s, from five different nations, were heading out for this international competition.

Jesús Pintos Ager won overall as well as the Amateur Class in the II IMS 670 World Championship organized by the Real Club Náutico de El Puerto de Santa Maria in Spain. Second Overall was the X-37 “Turismo Madrid, skippered by Olympic medalist Van der Ploeg.

The ninth X-Yachts Gold Cup was held in La Trinité-sur-Mer in Brittany in France from 29 July to 2 August. At sea, the races had been organised by SNT (La Société de Nautique), one of France’s leading organisers of racer-cruiser regattas. On shore, X-Yachts France had organised the event, including the provision of meals and professional entertainment.
