Owner's Comments

After having owned and raced a X-99 I started looking for a new boat in 2006. Although no intention to sail regatta's anymore I still wanted a real sailboat with great performance, but with some more comfort and space.

The result was buying a nice X-332 from X-Yachts Holland in 2007. And this X-332 has fullfilled all my wishes! Great sailing performance, fast and extremely stiff. Even mostly sailing as a couple reefing the mainsail has never been a priority. Inside she is spacious with comfortable beautiful wood trimmed cabins, providing much more space than expected on a 33ft yacht.

My X-332 has been serviced regularly by professionals and was stored each winter in a heated hall. I also upgraded my X-332 during the years with for example Tekdek in the cockpit, new tiller, new electronics, etc.
The epoxy bottom treatment has been replaced including new, low maintenance Econautic epoxy anti-fouling. Really nice: no new anti-fouling needed each winter; just cleaning!
The saildrive rubbers, water pump, batteries, and even exhaust pipe have been replaced as well, all carried out by professionals.

For 2016 I had scheduled to inspect/replace the rod rigging. But upon inspection we found some damage on the original mast, leading to the decision to replace the rig alltogether. John Mast delivered a very nice new mast incoporating some upgraded fittings from BSI.

This spring I also installed the new Raymarine Axiom 7 chartplotter in the cockpit, and installed the Raymarine Evolution tiller pilot, along with a gateway to connect these to the existing TackTick network.

If you are looking for a fast, stiff, spacious, comfortable and safe boat around 33ft this X-332 is your boat. And she is in great shape, so ready to sail for many more years.
