Owner's Comments

“I bought the boat as an X-Yachts demonstrator in 2012 intending to use her dual-purpose capabilities for family cruising and some novice racing in Dublin Bay. Until 2015 she was stored ashore and lightly raced in Irish regattas in Cork, Dun Laoghaire and Kinsale. In search of warmer waters we then transported her by road to the Mediterranean overseen by X-Yachts technicians and competed in a limited series of inshore regattas and offshore races in France and Italy during 2016-17. Throughout that time she was maintained to a high standard by X-Yachts. The race anti-foul has been resprayed, the hull polished and the engine serviced every year.
Racing results include:
Monaco Primo Cup 2016 - first in class
Giraglia Rolex Cup 2016 – eight in class
Giraglia Rolex Cup 2017 – fifth in class
We have been impressed by her speed and stability in moderate to strong breeze. Her strength and seaworthiness give her the comfort and security of a much larger boat when sailing offshore. We now feel ready to upgrade to the Xp44 for more racing and hopefully some family cruising.”
