X-65, build number #6, commissioned 2012.  White hull with shallow 2.60m L-shaped keel. Carbon fibre mast, with in-boom furling system, along with furling jib, furling asymmetric, and furling inner stay - all electrically operated for ease and short handed sailing. Teak in cockpit, coachroof and side decks.  Below decks she has three double en-suite cabins with sail cabin berth option.  She has large longitudinal galley to port and.  Unbelievably high specification and most importantly, the most loved and fastidiously maintained X-65 built!  She is ready to explore the world with you!

Exterior Details

Hull

  • Certification Category A - Ocean Hull construction according to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping)
  • Hull built in female mould in vacuum laminated sandwich construction using epoxy resin and compressed structural foam Bi- and unidirectional E-glass. Solid laminate in high stress areas around keel, rudder, mast and through hull fittings
  • Hull in white sprayed Gelcoat with 3 blue waterlines
  • Steel frame, hot-galvanised, high strength, to absorb all loads from keel, mast and rigging. Single point hoist for easy and safe lifting and launching of yacht. Bathing ladder with teak steps to be hung onto the folded down transom port.
