Xc 35, build number #21, commissioned 2017. White hull with grey hull stripes and 1.90m L-shaped keel.  Standard aluminium mast & furling jib. Teak in cockpit & side decks. Below decks she has two cabins, with one heads, classic layout with U-galley and fixed forward facing chart table.

Details

Exterior Details

Hull

  • Xc 35 2-cabin version (White Hull with Grey waterline stripes)
  • The Xc 35 is built to comply with the requirements specified by the European Union's Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) to meet Design Category A - 'Ocean'. Additionally, the Xc 35's hull construction meets the requirements of ABS (American Bureau of Shipping)
  • The hull is a full polyester resin/sandwich construction using vinylester resin system in outer skin layer, foam core with biaxial E-glass skins and local uni-directional reinforcements
  • Solid, monolithic laminate is used in areas around the keel structure, rudder stock bearing, around each through hull fitting sail drive, and thruster
  • Bottom treatment with 3 layers epoxy primer and 2 layers antifouling new from the yard, with new antifouling Summer 2018.

Deck

  • The deck is a hand lay-up, full sandwich construction. The foam provides strength and insulation.
  • The deck uses a polyester resin system and the skins are mainly biaxial E-glass layers with local unidirectional and carbon fibre reinforcements
  • Teak on side decks and in cockpit.
  • Cockpit table including grabrails for and compass Silva 125 FTC with instrument pod for navigation instruments
  • Gas springs on cockpit hatches (3 pcs)

Sail Handling

  • Upgrade to ANDERSEN winch package (ANDERSEN 46 ST-FS for genoa Performa) (ANDERSEN 40STFS for halyard and mainsheet)
  • Electric halyard winch, stainless steel, self-tailing, ANDERSEN 40STE fitted (1 pcs) port side
  • Main sheet traveller track mounted on coach roof replacing standard block system
  • Asymmetric spinnaker equipment including 2 spectra sheets, 2 Ronstan spinnaker blocks, 2 Ronstan cleats and 2 Wichard shackles and 2 Wichard pad eyes
  • Adjustable genua car system with rope and camcleat at cockpit sides replacing standard genoa cars (pin stop) - set

Sails

  • North Full Batten Mainsail, 3Di NorDac 19,600 Dpi - condition excellent
  • Furling Jib with Battens 3Di NorDac 22,400 Dpi - condition excellent

Mast & Rigging

  • Fractional double spreader, tapered silver anodized aluminium mast stepped on steel frame, designed and engineered for Xc 35. Mainsail luff groove. Sheaves for main and main boom lift, gennaker and extra gennaker halyard, genoa and spinnaker pole lift
  • Tricolour mast head light including anchor light, LED.

Keel

  • The standard keel draft is a 1.90 m (light ship) cast iron fin and L-bulb, with low centre of gravity and comfortable sailing performance

Hatches / Portlights / Ventilation / Sprayhood

  • Windscreen - curved aluminium frame with hardened glass. Sprayhood in dark grey canvas fitted to top edge of windscreen

Guard rail / Anchor / Stainless Steel Fittings

  • Lifeline gates - mounted each side at max beam
  • Electrical anchor winch 1000W - 12V on deck incl. 25 m x 8 mm galvanized chain incl. DELTA anchor 16 kg
  • A-frame in stainless steel with teak planking and attachment point for optional asymmetric spinnaker, designed to fit around standard bow fitting
  • Wheel crash bars in tubular stainless steel with instrument box for optional bow thruster control, throttle control at starboard wheel and a stainless grab rail at port wheel with instrument box for pilot control

Accommodation

General

  • All furniture is carefully selected, built with first class craftsmanship with minimum number of visible screws and hand-polished with a satin finish
  • As standard, joinery is veneered in t-teak with areas such as the heads and the aft most transverse bulkhead finished with spray applied white paint
  • Floor boards of 16 mm with plastic laminate on both sides, topside imitated teak and gaboon inlay stripes. Inspection hatches give access to bilge
  • Owner's Cabin:

Systems

Engine

  • Yanmar (3YM-30) 3 cylinder, indirect injection diesel engine. Maximum power is 21,3 kW (29 hp) at 3200 rpm
  • As standard, the engine is fitted with a 12V / 125A alternator for charging the engine start and domestic batteries
  • Engine hours - 47hrs (correct October 2018)
  • The Xc 35 is fitted with a Yanmar SD20 sail drive, with a gear ratio of 2.64:1
  • The 2-blade folding propeller has been upgraded to 3-bladed folding Flex-O-Fold propeller

Plumbing

  • Fuel is stored in a custom-built seamless high grade linear polyethylene tank, located in starboard cockpit locker. The tank is fitted with an inspection hatch, baffles, deck filler, breather and gauge.
  • Total fuel capacity is 165 litres
  • Fresh water is stored in single custom-built plastic tank, located below the main cabin sofa. The tank is fitted with an inspection hatch, baffles, deck filler, breather and gauge.
  • Total water capacity is 245 litres
  • A pressurised hot and cold water system is used throughout the boat incl. a hot & cold cockpit shower
  • A 24 litre calorifier is situated in the engine room. Water can be heated using the engine, or with the 230V immersion heater when connected to shore power
  • Heating system - Eberspächer D4 with 4 outlets in saloon, cabins and head

Electrical

  • 12V DC system for main engine installation
  • 1 x 12V 130 Ah AGM battery is mounted under main cabin sofa
  • 1 x battery watch is mounted – it protects the battery bank for deep discharge and will cut the power if the voltage falls below 11.2 V
  • 1 x 12V 70 Ah/760 A CCA (Cold cranking amps) AGM battery for engine start is mounted in the engine room
  • 12v / 125A alternator to charge battery bank when engine is running
  • 12V/30A battery charger is fitted to charge the batteries
  • LED lighting fitted as standard, including spot lights, curtesy strip lighting below cabinets in galley, saloon and nav station.
  • Red lighting over the nav station
  • Upgrade standard charger 12/30A to 12/50A charger
  • Inverter 12V-230V/800W including multi control panel, incl. one 230V socket at chart table

Electronics

  • Raymarine I70 base pack including 3 x I70 displays mounted in garage at companionway incl. 1 speed transducer/ depth transducer and 1 wind transducer, Raystar 130 GPS antenna and Raynet HIGH speed switch
  • 1 x eS127 Hybrid touch plotter, with EU chart (Navionics Silver) mounting at cockpit centre console
  • 1 x Auto Pilot EV-200 course computer, RAM drive 1 with P70 pilot display; P70 mounted in cockpit console
  • 1 x VHF Ray260 base station internat. w. loudspeaker & AIS receiver function, at nav station

Thrusters

  • Bow thruster - Max Power Compact Retractable with control at starboard wheel crashbar
