X-41 NUBE wins her third consecutive title at the Croatian ORC Open Championships.

15 teams gathered this year in Kastela near Split for the Corinthian ORC Open Championships.

Friday morning was quite windy with gusty northeasterly winds, which resulted in a short postponement. But, by around midday the wind dropped to below 20knots and the race committee gave the start of the first race at 14.40. X-41 NUBE won the first race in class 1. In class 2 X-35 Ramona helmed by Marko Marinovic was third; an impressive result as they are new to the ORCi circuit.

Over the next two days there was light winds and the fleet managed to sail another 3 races.

The X-Yachts taking part mananged a very impressive set of results at the end of the regatta with Nube winning her third consecutive nationals, X-cite was second and Ramona third.

Congratulations to all three teams, what a great introduction into ORCi Worlds. Next year the event will be held held in Northern Adriatics. We hope to see the X-Yachts that did so well this year and hopefully many more!
