FORMULA X UNBEATEN IN SPAIN

With a total of almost 80 boats registered, the Fiesta de la Vela Náutico Barcelona regatta was held on the weekend of 12, 13 and 14 December, bringing the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona’s sporting season to a close. The event brought together a wide range of participants from the ORC Regatta, ORC Cruiser, ORC A Dos, ORC Vintage, Classics-Era and J70 classes, as part of the Barcelona Winter Series.

The winners of the Fiesta de la Vela Náutico Barcelona 2025 were Formula X, owned by Rodrigo Sanz and David Greene (RCNP), in ORC Regatta; Photogenika, owned by Xavi Vives (CN Vela Badalona), in ORC Cruiser; Odysseus-Geseme, owned by Tusell–Meseguer (RCNB), in ORC Vintage; Barakah, owned by Daniel Martín and Toni del Río (RCMB), in ORC A Dos; and Bakea, owned by Xufré (RCNB), in the Classics category, corresponding to the Hanseatic Cup.

This regatta has once again highlighted the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona’s commitment to promoting sailing, consolidating the city’s position as a leading nautical capital. The event has successfully closed an intense year of sporting activity at the club.
