45 years with X-Yachts!
X-Yachts was founded on February 10th, 1979, in the garage of Birger Hansen. 45 years later, X-Yachts has evolved into a globally recognized leader in high-quality sailboat design and manufacturing.
Reflecting on our journey, from the first launch of the X-79 in May 1979, we have continually set the standard in yacht design and craftsmanship. Over these 45 years, we have introduced more than 60 designs, ranging from the popular One-design classes like the X-99 to big luxurious performance cruisers such as the X-65, IMX 70, X-73 and X5⁶.
