2) How we use your information

When you use our website

When you visit X-yacths.com, "cookies" are used to collect information about you, which is used to customise and improve our content, for marketing and statistics.

These informations typically include IP-address, access times, the sites linked from, pages visited, the links and features used, the content viewed or requested, browser or application type, language and other such information. When you submit a contact form on our website

When you submit a contact form via our website, we ask for your name, phone number, address, email address and information about your X-Yacht or subject of enquiry. We use your information to respond to your enquiry, including to provide you with requested information about our products and services. We may also contact you several times to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have responded to your enquiry to your satisfaction. We will do this out of our legitimate interest in providing accurate information to you, to ensure you satisfaction.

Your enquiry is sent by e-mail to relevant employees at X-Xachts. Where applicable we may pass your data onto an X-Yacht Dealer to better serve your enquiry. In this case, the X-Yachts dealer is the Data Controller.

We keep your enquiry for 2 years, after which we will delete it.

When you request service/winter storage for your X-Yacht on our website

When you submit a service request form via our website, we ask for your name, phone number, address, email address and information about your X-yacht, services you order, and arrival time. We use your information to respond to your request, plan your arrival, and provide the services requested.

We may also contact you several times to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have responded to your request to your satisfaction. We will do this out of our legitimate interest in providing accurate information to you, to ensure your satisfaction.

Your request is sent by e-mail to relevant employees at the service center of X-Yachts.

We keep your request for 2 years, after which we will delete it.

When you use our yacht configurator on our website

When you use the yacht configurator, we ask for your name, phone number, address, email address and information about interest in X-Yachts.

We use your information to respond to your configuration and interest in X-Yacths, including to provide you with requested information about our products and services. We may also contact you several times to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have responded to your enquiry to your satisfaction. We will do this out of our legitimate interest in providing accurate information to you, prior to a sale.

Your enquiry is sent by e-mail to relevant employees at X-Xachts.

Where applicable we may pass your data onto an X-Yacht Dealer to better serve your enquiry. In this case, the X-Yachts dealer is the Data Controller.

When you sign up for our newsletter

When you consent to receive our newsletter, we ask for your name and email address, as well as your consent. Your data is stored on a secure cloud server at Brevo in the USA for as long as you want. You will receive the newsletter 12-15 times a year. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose than the above.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by writing to gdpr@x-yachts.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails you receive.

When you shop in the webshop on our website

When you shop in the webshop, we ask you for your name, address, email address, phone number and give you the option to save your information for the next time you shop.

We use this information to send confirmation of your purchase, including providing you with delivery information. We may email or call you several times after your purchase if situations arise that affect your purchase/contract.

Please note, that the option “save my information for next time” only stores your information in your browser.

The legal basis for the processing of your information, is performance of a contract and legitimate interest in serving you to your satisfaction.

Your information is stored on a secure cloud server for the current year + 5 years after your purchase, in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act.

When you pay for the product, your data is sent to our external partner for payment processing.

The payment provider is the Data Controller and is obliged to comply with the requirements for payment providers applicable at any given time, including security requirements. In addition, the payment provider is responsible for ensuring that credit card numbers and codes are handled securely in accordance with the requirements set out in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Sharing your information

Our website is hosted by external suppliers who process the data on our behalf and

on our instructions. The information may also be disclosed to and processed by business partners in connection with the administration of customer relationships and marketing as well as to carriers for the delivery of goods.

Your personal data will be disclosed to a payment provider when you make a purchase in the webshop. The payment provider is the Data Controller.

Where applicable we may pass your information onto an X-Yacht Dealer to better serve your enquiry. In this case, the X-Yachts dealer is the Data Controller.

3) Secure Connection

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technologies to encrypt the connection between your computer and our website. All data transferred between x-yachts.com and your computer are encrypted using 256bit SHA. Encryption makes it difficult for unauthorised people to view information travelling between computers. It is therefore a good step in protecting your personal data.

4) Embedded Videos

We use external video services to host videos on this website. Whilst we have done what we can to limit data collection, this type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where videos are embedded, even when Users do not watch it.

YouTube without cookies (Google Inc.) 

YouTube is a video service provided by Google Inc. that allows this website to incorporate video content on its pages. Videos are configured in a way that ensures that YouTube won't store information and cookies about Users on this website unless they play the video.

5) Your rights as a Data subject
