The X-65 is a stunning classic "Mini Maxi" yacht designed by Niels Jeppesen for X-Yachts. This vessel is hull number 5/6 of all X-65s built between 2009 and 2014. It is designed for both competitive racing in larger yacht classes and for ocean cruising.

The yacht comes with an extensive list of upgrades, including a carbon fiber mast and a Park Avenue boom, added by the current owner. Nearly every possible option has been selected, including a generator, watermaker, air conditioning, retractable bow thruster, electric winches, and much more.

The X-65 was created as the larger sibling to the highly successful X-55, which won the European Yacht of the Year 2007 award. It also shares a design lineage with the sleek and fast IMX 70. The result is a stylish, spacious, and high-performance ocean cruiser. In every phase of design and production, the aim was to create a yacht that is easy to sail with a small crew while being reliable on long ocean voyages. The X-65 beautifully combines elegance with performance, proving that practicality and beauty need not be mutually exclusive.

The designers have integrated their experience with innovative ideas to maintain clean lines while ensuring the yacht is easy to handle. One example of this thoughtful approach is the smart deck layout, where the anchor and bow roller are neatly hidden when docked or at sea. These are deployed via a hinged stainless steel arm supported by a gas spring.

Large refit made in 2024 by the current owner.
