Hull

• HULL - X-Yachts hulls are built using the latest high tech construction technologies with a vacuum-infused, post-cured (Oven baked @ 70°C) EPOXY construction and gelcoat finish
• Flush through hull fittings are recessed into the hull for perfect flush finish. Reduced drag leads to more speed
• Hull Colour - 'Pure White' (RAL 9010) & 3 x 'iron grey' integrated GELCOAT Water Lines (RAL 7011)
• Hull Treatment - 3 x layers of sprayed epoxy primer and white Hard Racing AF ( New sprayed in 2026)

Keel

• Carbon Keel Structure - carbon tapes are incorporated throughout the keel floors, an integral part of the Xp 44 hull line, for improved rigidity and resilience with reduced weight. The hull liner is in turn bonded securely to the hull surface
• Standard Keel - 2.30 m 'T' keel consists of antimony hardened lead T-bulb bolted and glued to cast iron fin for high strength, low centre of gravity for comfortable sailing performance. The Keel is totally encapsulated in three layers of CSM E-glass with epoxy for protection, perfect wing shape and maximum lift and height by sailing. The keel is securely bolted to the structural carbon keel frame with stainless steel bolts for maximum safety and integrated central hoist
