XR 41 Nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2026

X-Yachts is proud to announce that the new XR 41 has been nominated for the prestigious title of European Yacht of the Year 2026 in the category “Up to 14 metres.”

This year’s competition marks a strong rebound in the international yachting industry, with a record number of 23 yachts shortlisted across five size categories. The nominees will undergo extensive sea trials by the jury of twelve leading European sailing magazines, with test sessions taking place in IJmuiden, the Netherlands (September) and Port Ginesta, Spain (October). The winners will be revealed at boot Düsseldorf in January 2026.

The XR 41 has already made a remarkable entrance on the international stage. Wherever the boat has lined up on the racecourse, it has delivered podium results – including both gold and silver medals at the ORC World Championship 2025 in Tallinn.

The development has been carried out in close collaboration with leading experts in the field, which is why the XR 41 combines high-performance DNA with comfort and versatility. Its dual-purpose concept offers both competitive racing capabilities and a refined cruising experience, supported by a modular and thoughtfully designed interior.

With its cutting-edge performance, intelligent design, and proven results on the racecourse, the XR 41 stands out as a strong contender for the most coveted award in international yacht building.

At X-Yachts we are proud to receive this nomination.
CEO Kræn Brinck Nielsen comments: “Being nominated for European Yacht of the Year is a great honour for X-Yachts and a strong recognition of the dedication and innovation that went into developing the XR 41. This project has been about pushing the boundaries of performance while staying true to our DNA of quality and craftsmanship. To see the XR 41 already proving itself on the racecourse – and now being recognised at this level – makes us both proud and grateful.”

We look forward to the results being announced in January 2026 and want to thank you all for your continued support.
