X‑37 – A beautifully balanced performance cruiser from X‑Yachts, presented in excellent condition and benefiting from thoughtful upgrades and continuous care.  This model is widely regarded as one of X‑Yachts’ most successful designs, delivering the perfect blend of light‑helm responsiveness, offshore capability and refined Scandinavian craftsmanship.

This particular X‑37 stands out with her well‑maintained systems, recent sail inventory, and a specification suited to both competitive club racing and fast, comfortable cruising. The interior is finished in X‑Yachts’ signature mahogany  joinery, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere with exceptional build quality throughout.

She features the classic X‑Yachts steel keel grid, ensuring stiffness, safety and precise sailing characteristics. Her sail handling layout is clean and efficient, with upgraded running rigging and hardware that make her a pleasure to helm short‑handed or with a full crew.

Below deck, the three‑cabin layout provides generous accommodation, a bright saloon, and a practical galley — ideal for extended cruising or weekends afloat. .

Currently lying ashore in Falmouth, she represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a well‑presented example of this highly sought‑after model.

Owner's Comments

Owners Comments;

"After a happy ten years with Marelisa, three things stand out:

Performance
Following twenty-odd years with a steady but rather weighty Nicholson 35, I wanted a boat that was above all fun to sail and Marelisa has certainly delivered on that. Although we have never actually raced, with her recent top-of-the-range laminated sails, she is a notably fast boat and has regularly outperformed pretty much anything we have encountered out on the water. She has excellent light-airs performance, extremely responsive steering and is easily manoeuvred under power.

Pride of ownership
Marelisa is a handsome boat with a high “row-away factor”, an overall feeling of quality and solidity, and is much-admired wherever she goes.

Easy to live with
Thanks to X-Yachts build quality, I have had no issues with any of the boat’s systems and have needed to do only regular routine maintenance during my ownership. Her sailing qualities are such that the engine has been used only sparingly and has been 100% reliable.

This is a very reluctant sale, but age has now caught up with me and it’s time to downsize and do some pottering in the local Cornish rivers.”
