It is with mixed emotions that I am selling X-Hale. I was in my late thirties when I bought her and I had never owned a sailboat before. The brief was simple when deciding on what to buy, find a sailors' boat from a quality manufacturer that my family would be very comfortable on.
I was tempted to race her but we never got around to it, enjoying the trips down the coast cruising to Salcombe from the Solent. Trips to France and the Channel Islands were also a favorite. She is fantastic on passages because short-handed she sails fast and comfortably.
So it is with a heavy heart we must allow another owner to enjoy what has been a well-loved and looked-after member of our family.
