I bought Blue Janga as I wanted a good, well built sailing boat capable of sailing the world, but had to compromise with my wife who wanted comfort. The Xc 45 is the ideal compromise.
The plan was to take her far and wide, but family life and grandchildren have come along meaning that plans have changed for the time being. As a result she has been lightly used around the South coast.
She is an easy boat to sail, with additions to make this even simpler when short, or single-handed, but also fun and competitive in the annual Round the Island race, and she has been the ideal platform for entertaining friends.
I have enjoyed maintaining her, and tinkering, as much as the sailing, and whilst am sorry to have to sell her, hope that she can continue to offer her next owner as much pleasure as she has us.
