“Barracuda” is a highly specified 2021 X-Yachts Xp 44 combining genuine performance sailing capability with the comfort and equipment required for fast cruising.
Designed by Niels Jeppesen and built by X-Yachts, the Xp 44 is known for its powerful yet easily managed sail plan, responsive handling and strong construction. “Barracuda” is fitted with the deep 2.65 m T-keel and offers an excellent balance between race-oriented performance and comfortable cruising.
The accommodation comprises three double cabins and two electric heads, providing a practical layout for family cruising or longer passages. Comfort equipment includes Eberspächer D5 heating, air conditioning in the saloon and owner’s cabin, microwave, 65-litre refrigerator and a Combimaster 12/2000-60 inverter/charger.
Her navigation and electronics package is based around B&G equipment and includes Triton2 instruments, NAC3 autopilot, NAIS 500B AIS transceiver, V90 VHF and two Zeus3 9-inch chartplotters.
On deck, “Barracuda” is equipped with a bow thruster, Flexiteek cockpit, teak cockpit table, sprayhood, full cockpit tent and bimini. Sailing equipment includes a carbon bowsprit, asymmetric spinnaker handling equipment, lazy jacks, Grand Prix race spinnaker barber-haul system and an additional fractional spinnaker halyard.
She is powered by a Yanmar 4JH57 57 hp diesel engine and carries approximately 200 litres of fuel and 350 litres of fresh water.
