Silverrudder 2024: Xc 47 “SpaceX” delivers an impressive performance.

Silverrudder 2024 became a memorable edition with perfect weather conditions, beautiful nature, and intense racing.

Impressive achievement by the Blue Water Cruiser Xc 47 “SpaceX”, sailed by Torben Kornum from X-Yachts, securing second place in the highly competitive Xtra Large class.
What makes this even more remarkable is that the Xc 47 was fully equipped for cruising. Despite having full diesel tanks and 100 meters of anchor chain onboard, the boat proved its capability when it comes to both comfort and speed.
Torben Kornum shared his thoughts:
“After sailing the Xc 47 to at number of boatshows this summer I am actually not surprised by its performance in Silverrudder. It is very fast from 8-10 knots of wind, but of course it cannot match boats like Xp 44 and Landmark 43 that are made for racing. But it must be the best cruiser ever, and at the same time it is also extremely stable and safe to sail in all conditions.”
