Why did we chose the X4⁹ with our client?

Our brief from our client was to suggest a yacht that he could cross oceans in safely.  Ease of handling, style, comfort and a yacht that was technically superior was also extremely important.   It was without a doubt that the X4⁹ was the right boat for this project.

We based this on a few things, most importantly: Safety – steel frame, epoxy hull, protected rudder to name a few. Ease of sailing – the cockpit layout lends itself to ease of handling and protects passengers aboard with very safe areas.

The size of this boat, while still easily managed, gives ample space for us to specify and engineer the necessary systems our client required for his Atlantic crossing, and importantly to service same (air con, generator, water maker, etc.).

Once we had this excellent foundation to build upon, we set to work on specifying and project managing the best solutions and equipment for this X4⁹, tailoring them to our clients specific wishes.

Aboard this yacht, she oozes quality and attention to detail.  This further reinforces that she is a boat very capable of crossing oceans safely.   The build detailing by X-Yachts underpins her construction characteristics, and therefore adds to the peace of mind and comfort of those fortunate enough to sail on her.
