In line with the launch of our new XR 41, X-Yachts is preparing its own Racing Team and gearing up for an exciting season. Recruitment has begun, and training will start when the first boat is ready to sail around the turn of the year.

In the upcoming fall of 2024 and spring of 2025, the X-Yachts Racing Team will be in action. The first stage primarily focuses on gathering a strong pool of sailors who will form the core foundation of the team. Once Hull #1 is ready to sail around Christmas and early in the new year, boat tests and training will begin.

In the days and weeks following our initial announcement of the team, we received numerous inquiries regarding participation and recruitment.
In fact, the response was so overwhelming that we decided to make some adjustments to the original recruitment plan.

We are skipping the previously planned questionnaire and will instead kick off with a try-out and info session this Wednesday afternoon, October 9th, in Skovshoved with this group.

The participants are primarily young and slightly more experienced Danish and Nordic sailors, and we look forward to seeing them perform on the water and sharing our thoughts on the campaign, training, goals, and schedule.
